MERCHANT CENTER GUIDE

From product facts to a supplemental feed

Use this app when you already have a primary Merchant Center feed and want to prepare optional conversational attributes. It creates a file for you to review and upload.

1. Start with the exact product IDs

Use the IDs from your current Merchant Center primary source. A store SKU or handle may differ. Upload a reference ID list in the app to check the match. Keep the source language and feed label aligned when you submit.

2. Add facts you can stand behind

Import the app’s facts CSV template or enter facts directly. Each row can supply one FAQ, document link or variant dimension. Repeated rows under one ID are combined. Review questions and answers for relevance, accuracy and duplication with information already supplied.

Use public, stable product PDF links that you have permission to share. The app checks URL syntax; you must check the actual document, file size, crawlability and rights.

3. Resolve findings and choose columns

Fix blocking issues, check group consistency and review every product. Choose the optional columns deliberately. Blank cells in selected columns can affect existing combined values under your source rules. Keep a backup and preview the resulting data.

4. Download and submit

Download the TSV. In Merchant Center, enable Advanced data source management under Settings → Add-ons if needed. Go to Settings → Data sources → Supplemental sources → Add supplemental product data. Select a file, match the language, label and primary source, then upload. Review processing results in Merchant Center.

A supplemental source cannot create products on its own. These optional attributes do not guarantee approval, visibility, rankings or sales. This app does not connect to or write to Google.
